World, say hello to Ashlyn DeJong! Luke and Kari Dejong's new baby was ready to say 'hi' at 12:43pm on Friday, June 19th, 2009. Luke is my first friend to have a baby, so this is pretty awesome/exciting. He gets back from Iraq in September. Ashlyn is like a not-ugly version of Luke.There is absolutely nothing in the world like holding a newborn baby. Words cannot describe the feeling.
I'm glad you were able to share this special day with them. I agree, there is nothing better than a newborn, especially when they're sleeping :)
